This policy describes how Anime Bingo collects, uses, and shares information. It is written for a United States audience and includes California privacy rights.
1. Who operates this service
Anime Bingo is operated by the publisher of Anime Bingo (“operator,” “we”). The service lets visitors play bingo cards made from a shared library of cues, with optional accounts for personal cards, boards, and completed games.

2. Information collected
The service collects the categories below. It does not collect payment information and does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Account information
An account includes an email address, a password stored in a form that is not readable as the original password, a display name, and basic account activity such as when the account was created and how often it has been used. The email identifies the account and is used to send account verification and password-recovery messages. The service may also store moderation records on an account, including warnings (reason, related list, time, and the moderator who wrote it) and flags such as a restriction on creating new lists.
Lists, progress, and history
Signed-in visitors may create lists and slices. The service stores each visitor’s spin progress and a limited history of recent winners. Public lists and the display name on those lists are visible to other visitors. Hidden lists are omitted from the library and are visible to anyone who has the link. Private lists are omitted from the library and are visible to the owner and to people the operator authorizes to run the service. A moderator may hide, privatize, or disable a list within the powers the operator grants. A disabled list is omitted from the library and cannot be opened except by the owner (who may delete it) and by administrators.
Guest information
A visitor who is not signed in may have progress and history remembered in that browser through an essential session cookie. Signing in can add that visit’s progress to the account when the account does not already have progress for the same list.
Technical information
The service may process a visitor’s IP address and standard request information to operate and protect the service. That information is not used to build a lasting advertising profile. The hosting environment may also keep ordinary server logs under its own retention.
3. How the information is used
- Provide the wheel, lists, and accounts.
- Create, secure, confirm, and recover accounts, including email used for confirmation and password recovery.
- Remember progress and history for the visitor who spun.
- Show public lists and the owner’s display name in the library.
- Protect the service and respond to abuse.
- Comply with law and with valid legal process.
4. Sharing
The operator does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information is disclosed only:
- To service providers that host or operate the service, acting on the operator’s instructions.
- To people the operator authorizes to run the service, who may see accounts and lists as needed to operate it, including private lists.
- When a visitor publishes a public list, to other visitors of the service. Hidden lists are visible to visitors who have the link.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect the service, visitors, or the operator.
- In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of the service, subject to this policy or a successor notice.
5. Cookies
The service uses an essential session cookie so a visitor can stay signed in and so guest progress can persist in that browser. The cookie lasts up to 30 days. The service does not use advertising cookies or optional analytics cookies.
6. Retention
Account information, owned lists, progress, and history are kept until the account is deleted, except that recent spin history is limited in length. Some usage totals may be kept in aggregated form. After account deletion, the operator removes the account, lists it owns, that visitor’s progress, and that visitor’s spin history. Limited operational or backup copies may remain for a short time as systems rotate.
7. Access, download, and deletion
A signed-in visitor can download a copy of the personal information stored with the account from the account page, and can delete the account from the same page. Deletion removes the account, lists it owns, progress, and spin history.
A visitor may also request access, correction, or deletion by contacting the operator at the address in section 1. The operator may need enough information to verify the request.
8. California privacy rights
If the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) applies, California residents have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. The operator does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email and password are used to operate the account, not to infer characteristics. To exercise these rights, use the account page or contact the operator as in section 1. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization.
Categories collected: identifiers (such as email, a guest session identifier, and IP address used to operate and protect the service), account credentials, customer records (display name, lists, slices), and usage information (progress, spin history, and totals). Sources: the visitor and the visitor’s device. Business purposes: those in section 3. Disclosures: those in section 4.
9. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account or provide personal information if you are under 13. If the operator learns that it collected personal information from a child under 13, it deletes that information.
10. Security
The operator uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. International visitors
The service is offered with a United States-centric privacy practice. Using it from another country means information is processed in the operator’s systems, which may be in the United States. Download and deletion tools on the account page are available to every signed-in visitor.
12. Changes
The operator may update this policy. The current version is the one posted on this page. Continued use after a change is posted is acceptance of the updated policy.
